In a diverse, uncertain,
and fast-paced world, HOW DO WE PLAY?
Early Childhood (EC) professionals can face challenges in effectively implementing play-based strategies in their practice. Promoting inclusivity, incorporating new technology, and integrating arts in play are key areas that require attention.
The Permission to Play Conference 2023 aims to provide EC professionals with a platform to learn how to play as adults. Master Teaching Artists from the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning Through the Arts, respected educators, practitioners, and researchers will be presenting a variety of keynotes, short workshops, and immersive workshops across key topic areas of promoting inclusivity in play, incorporating new technology in play, developing arts-integrated curriculum, creating play-based environments, and well-being and play. The conference seeks to empower EC professionals with innovative approaches and strategies to create engaging, inclusive, and arts-integrated play experiences that support optimal development in young children.
